A note from Serena, our Director of Communications:
Thanks for tuning in, readers, and Happy Thanksgiving Week!
We have so much to be thankful for this year at Clarity, and we could not have achieved a fraction of 2018’s accomplishments without each and every person reading this! From entrusting us to become your recruiting agency partner to applying to the jobs we are recruiting for on behalf of our impressive clientsー it is our loyal followers, friends, clients and candidates that have made our growth and expansion possible. As an aside, we’re particularly grateful for the fact that there’s quite a bit of overlap across those groups ー nothing feels better to our Team than when candidates become clients, friends become candidates, and when clients become friends! If you’ve passed our name along to contacts seeking recruitment support, sent candidate referrals, or if you’ve paid a visit to our NYC HQ or ATL satellite office ーin person or virtually via video-chatー to get to know us better, we simply cannot thank you enough for choosing us! For those of you discovering this post out of your own curiosity about Clarity, thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. It’s a great time to tune in because we’re taking this opportunity to share more with our network about what we have been working in internally.
Our internal efforts to strengthen our team, build upon our solid foundation, and make sure our recruiting practice is poised for continued growth has entailed equal parts forward momentum and reflection. In this process, we have articulated our mission statement and defined our core values, all from taking a deep look at who we are. This language may be newly minted, but it is derived from our history, how we work, and who we have been since day one.
Our mission is to build better teams ー period. We genuinely care about helping people, and we take a thoughtful approach to placing the best talent at the best companies to work with across the nation. We believe strength lies in diversity and that leadership can only be as strong as their supporting teams
Our core values start within our walls, and permeate every relationship and team that we build:
- Clarity It’s no coincidence that this is our namesake value! We engage in transparent, face-to-face communication that cultivates meaningful long-term relationships with clients and candidates. We believe honesty is the best policy.
- Humanity We are committed to ensuring that no candidate or client feels like a number. Our approach is tailored and human-centered, and we couple empathy with our strategies at all times.
- Purpose We care about people, and we believe all people deserve access to resources that can help them build their dream team, or become a part of one. Our purpose is to be one of these resources for as many people as possible.
This year, in addition to the above, we have refined our internal communications strategy and implemented enhanced professional development and corporate social responsibility programming marked by partnerships with New York Cares and Futures & Options. Currently, we’re running a Coat Drive in our NYC HQ ー drop by 8 West 38th Street, Suite 502, if you have any coats you’d like to donate! Check out the instagram hashtag #ClarityCares to get a taste of our volunteer work (lots more to come in 2019!), and follow @claritystaffing while you’re at it to stay on top of what we’re up to! You might notice our social media is donning a fresh take on our logo ー Consider this your teaser for what’s to come in the next few weeks!
In spirit of reflection, here is the highlight reel of what we’ve achieved so far this year, starting with the addition of dedicated Legal and Finance practice areas. While we have worked across both sectors since our inception in 2000, this year we have grown our recruiting talent to include highly specialized expertise in these two sectors. Our dedicated Legal and Finance recruiters are actively applying their depth of knowledge in their respective practice areas to build these industry-specific tailored divisions. We could not be more impressed by their ability to hit the ground running! Our core practice areas of administrative support are still going strong ー in fact, stronger than ever. The addition of new recruiters to our temporary and permanent teams has resulted in more first-time clients than ever in New York! Stay tuned in early 2019 for more practice area expansion.
Last but certainly not least, 2018 has also marked the opening of our first satellite office. Our influence traveled down the East Coast and secured us a new office in Atlanta, Georgia. Our ATL Team is actively developing new business. The Empire State of the South is hot to hire!
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to catch up with us – we hope to get in touch with you soon to discuss your recruiting needs, career goals, or partnership opportunities. On behalf of Team Clarity, have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your loved ones!
