Kolt Free
Recruiter / Certified DEI Practitioner
Kolt is part of our Temporary Placement Division where he works on the desk as a recruiter. Kolt is also a certified DEI practitioner, and for years served as the Temp Team Lead who supported and managed that division. Kolt's role evolved to accommodate his academic pursuits which have brought him to London to obtain a Masters Degree, but he is still fully committed to Clarity! In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities as a recruiter, he works closely with Clarity's Leadership Team and Director of Communications on our internal professional development series which includes quarterly DEI education, Clarity U. He also supports content development for The Clarity Collective, Clarity's virtual event community.
After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Kolt moved to New York City in 2015 and started his career with Clarity as a temp candidate. He developed experience with some of Clarity’s amazing clients in that time and was then invited in-house to cover a maternity leave. When he was invited on board permanently as a recruiting coordinator, Kolt jumped at the opportunity and the rest is history! This was just the beginning of Kolt's ascent toward a leadership position at Clarity. He has since developed a deeply empathetic approach to relationship building, a solutions-oriented approach to the greatest recruitment challenges, and a strong desire to educate our internal team and clients on the nuts and bolts of what inclusive hiring practices entail.
Prior to making the move to the Big Apple, Kolt studied psychology and social activist theatre, including a stint abroad in Malta focusing on interculturalism. Today, when Kolt isn't working or studying, he enjoys hanging out with his four-legged friend, Gus, traveling all around Europe, and seeing as many theater productions as he can.
Kolt is a Qualified Diversity Recruiter [QDR] and received certification from JTC - Jennifer Tardy Consulting, and also is a Certified Diversity Practitioner, through The People Company.
