Colleen Robson
Chief Operating Officer
COO: Colleen was first introduced to the recruiting world prior to joining Clarity, working as a Campus Recruiting Coordinator at Goldman Sachs after graduating from Boston College in 2009. Seeking a taste of the recruiting world outside of finance and to diversify her skillset, Colleen discovered Clarity and joined the team in 2011 as an Account Executive for the Temporary Division. She has since worked both sides of the desk facing high-volume candidate screenings and developing deep partnerships with clients. While full-cycle recruitment and account management/business development were part of Colleen’s daily life for several years, her inclination toward management and professional development of her team enabled her to rise into the role of Temporary Division Manager. As Clarity grew, she naturally matured into Head of People in Spring of 2017, where she was responsible for day-to-day management of all recruiters and account managers, training, onboarding and HR, as well as internal hiring (just to name a few!). In 2020, Colleen's leadership and operational expertise flourished, which led her to be named COO in 2020.
A Long Island native and beach lover, in Colleen's spare time she can be found or relaxing on the beaches of Long Island with friends and family. When beach weather subsides, you can find Colleen is plotting escapes from the cold over a beverage at the city’s best happy hours!
Colleen is a Qualified Diversity Recruiter [QDR] and received certification from JTC - Jennifer Tardy Consulting.
Interview Tip
Be on time! Map out how to get there ahead of time and then plan for the worst case scenario in terms of transportation. That way, if that worst case scenario happens, you're on time. If it doesn't, don't show up too early. Find a coffee shop nearby - you can gather your thoughts, fix yourself up to look polished, and do any last minute research.
