Our client is seeking a Treasury / Portfolio Analytics Associate to support the development and optimization of internal processes, data systems, and analytical frameworks that enable effective trading operations and capital management. This role centers on modeling and analyzing complex datasets from multiple sources to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine analytical models focused on collateral and funding optimization, enhancing data accuracy, scalability, and operational utility
• Conduct comprehensive daily analysis of margin requirements and maintain ongoing dialogue with financial counterparties to enhance liquidity positioning
• Support the oversight of funding arrangements across multiple brokerage relationships, with emphasis on cost-effective capital deployment
• Partner cross-functionally to build robust treasury infrastructure leveraging both internal tools and third-party platforms

Required Experience & Skills:

• 4+ years in institutional finance, investment operations, or related capacity within asset management or capital markets
• Strong quantitative aptitude with demonstrated analytical capabilities
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, macros, complex formulas); familiarity with SQL, VBA, Python, or similar languages highly valued
• Proven experience building, maintaining, and extracting insights from large-scale datasets
• Understanding of institutional brokerage operations and financing mechanics, including collateral management and secured lending structures
• Familiarity across multiple asset classes including cash securities, listed derivatives, and over-the-counter instruments
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent process management capabilities
• Clear and effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats
