Technical Client Services Manager

Our client, a global financial technology company specializing in electronic trading solutions, is seeking a Technical Client Services Manager to join its New York team. This role provides technical support to clients within a fast-paced SaaS and FX trading environment, with a focus on troubleshooting, integrations, and client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-line technical support for client inquiries and incidents.
  • Troubleshoot client orders and workflows using UNIX and Windows, including analysis of FIX, XML, and service logs.
  • Manage technical integrations across FIX, FTP/SFTP, execution platforms, OMS, and pre-trade risk controls.
  • Support client go-lives, configurations, mappings, and technical setup.
  • Partner with internal and external technology teams to resolve issues and manage escalations through Jira.
  • Collaborate with global teams to provide consistent 24/7 client coverage and document key learnings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, STEM, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of production/application support experience.
  • 3–4+ years of experience within FX, global markets, treasury, client services, or a related environment.
  • Experience with FX products, including spot, forwards, and swaps.
  • Knowledge of FIX protocol, Java, TCP/IP, Windows, macOS, log analysis, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical problem-solving, communication, and client service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation & Schedule

This is a full-time, New York City-based position with a base salary of $95,000–$125,000. The role requires occasional weekend availability as part of a global 24/7 support model and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
