Our client, a food manufacturing company, is seeking a Logistics & Sales Operations Coordinator to support logistics, inventory, and sales operations. This is a hands-on role that works closely with production, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure efficient shipments, accurate inventory, and strong customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer shipments to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.
• Source and compare competitive freight rates, with a focus on frozen shipments.
• Monitor customer portals and inventory levels to proactively prevent stock-outs.
• Process daily orders and respond to customer inquiries.
• Reconcile deductions by matching Bills of Lading with invoices and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Coordinate daily with plant, production, and warehouse teams to align schedules and address potential delays.
• Develop contingency plans for production or logistics issues.
• Support inventory and operational logistics during the company’s transition to its New Jersey facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, sales operations, or a related role.
• Food and beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly related to freight costs and financial reconciliation.
• Proficiency with Excel, customer portals, and general office technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite manufacturing environment.
• Ability to commute between New Jersey and the Bronx as needed during the transition period.

Compensation & Schedule

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with a salary of approximately $70,000/year. The role will ultimately be based in Moonachie, NJ, with flexibility to work from the Bronx during the transition period.
