Case Development and Client Advisory Group Paralegal
We are seeking a Paralegal to join a fast-paced Case Development & Client Advisory team supporting securities litigation matters. This role will work closely with attorneys and senior paralegals to conduct legal research, prepare and file court documents, support case analysis, and assist with client communications and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, Bloomberg Law, AlphaSense, and other research tools
- Proofread, cite-check, Bluebook, and prepare legal documents, including complaints, briefs, pleadings, and court filings
- Assist with e-filing in federal courts and maintain organized case files, deadlines, and reference materials
- Support attorneys with case analysis, client memoranda, reports, onboarding activities, and client development initiatives
- Assist with RFPs, business development projects, administrative tasks, and time entry management
- Coordinate multiple assignments while ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely completion of work
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm; securities litigation experience is a plus
- Experience with federal court e-filing, legal research platforms, and Bluebooking
- Strong legal research, proofreading, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work overtime as needed
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually, plus annual merit bonus
- Full-time, non-exempt
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office (Tuesday and Wednesday required), 2 days remote
