Our client, a Series C stage startup in the AI / Digital Media space, is growing rapidly and looking for a hands-on engineering manager to lead their growing front end team.
100% remote role with salary target in the $275 - $340K range
What you’ll do:

• Lead a growing frontend engineering team building interactive UIs for GenAI based video products
• Work closely with Research, Platform, Design, and Creative, Engineering, and Leadership teams to define and prioritize product goals / priorities
• Build and grow a highly performant team of engineers from diverse backgrounds
• Foster a culture of technical excellence AND inclusivity to support employee happiness and retention
• Improve the performance, security, reliability, and quality of existing codebase

• 6+ years of frontend engineering experience in a scaling startup
• At least 1+ year of experience as a Team Lead or Engineering manager in a scaling environment
• Ability to translate high level goals into actionable tasks
• Hands on technical skills in React / Typescript, with an interest an writing / maintaining robust client -server architectures and APIs
• Active github profile and / or meaningful contributions to open-source projects
• Ability to rapidly prototype solutions in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
