System Administrator
Our financial client based in Suffolk County, NY is looking for an experienced System Administrator to join their team on a full time basis.
Our client works onsite, and has a compensation target of $125-$150K + bonus for this position.
You'll be joining a small, hands on team, and be responsible for maintaining the firm’s IT infrastructure and providing support to desktop support teams as needed.

- Configures, installs, maintains and provides support for the below technologies:
- Microsoft Active Directory. Experience with Group Policy, DNS, Sites and Services, DHCP, Powershell
- Server hardware configurations (specifically Cisco C-Series)
- Hyper-V, and Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)
- Patch management for desktop/servers via Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Exchange 2019 including DAG configurations
- Microsoft SQL 2022 including AG configurations
- VMWare ESXi, vCenter and vSAN configurations
- Cisco Email Security Appliances
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (IAAS and PAAS implementations)
- Knowledge of backup processes and disaster recovery. Experience with CommVault Commcell backup solutions
- Ability to proactively assess security updates across all products and implementations mentioned
- Monitors system availability and performance
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
