Senior Thought Leadership Analyst

Our client, a strategic marketing consultancy firm located in lower Manhattan, is looking for a Senior Thought Leadership Analyst to work on their NY team. Responsibilities include designing strategic led approaches to solving client challenges and analyzing information to create impactful insights and recommendations.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project schedule
  • Contribute to project concepting and strategy
  • Write basic survey from outline with moderate oversight
  • Manage the project and project quality through fielding (e.g., reviewing survey the instrument, prepare survey for programming and test for field readiness and actively troubleshoot project fielding issues, identify and implement solutions with oversight, working with data processing team on banner tabs)
  • Prepare field progress reports, deliver to client as appropriate
  • Prepare and populate report template, verify quality of deliverables
  • Write detailed findings, begin to formulate conclusions and implications
  • Participate in client discussions and presentations
  • Proactively support client research needs and goals, contribute innovative ideas and relevant solutions to help the team exceed client expectations
  • Work across multiple client accounts simultaneously and manage time accordingly

Looking for candidates with:

•            A bachelor’s degree: concentrations or interest in journalism, sociology, business or marketing

•            2+ years of experience in market research, marketing, management consulting, media planning, media buying, strategic planning, investment banking, data journalism

•            Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

•            Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to independently author and deliver presentations

•            Curiosity / interest in cultural trends and how they pertain to businesses of all types

•            Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management, ranging from senior corporate executives to business unit managers and third parties
