Business Development Representative

Our client, a tech start up in NYC, is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to set up meetings with target customers and help account executives win new business. Core components of the job would include conducting market research to figure out the best way to win new accounts, setting up meetings with high-value leads, figuring out how they can add the most value for each opportunity, and collaborating with the broader sales team. 

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional experience

  • Very strong written communication skills

  • Ability to relate to people and form strong relationships

Skills / Outcomes / Experience:

  • Attain/Exceed SQO quota on a month to month basis

  • Form relationships with key prospects through cold outreach and consistent nurturing efforts via Linkedin, email, gift campaigns and content distribution

  • Track record of success

  • Good at relating to people

  • Good at responding to feedback

  • Persistence/follow through

  • Integrity

  • Attention to Detail
