A leading public affairs firm behind winning efforts for nationally recognized public affairs and advocacy campaigns on behalf of political, labor, non-profit, and corporate organizations is seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to help guide and grow our operations in New York, Florida and beyond. From providing strategic consulting and communications services, to analytical research and media operations, to digital campaign management and creative content production, we utilize our unique brand of expertise to develop innovative solutions to help our clients succeed.

With a growing team leading some of the highest profile public affairs and advocacy campaigns in New York and around the country, our ideal candidate must have multiple years of experience in the strategic management and operations of digital campaigns for political and issue-based efforts. From having strong communications skills, to experience overseeing organic and paid digital media programs, and the use and deployment of social and digital media assets, we are looking for a team leader who can execute multiple tasks and organizational projects in a fast-paced environment.

 

Position

We are looking for a talented and energetic  Digital Strategist who will be responsible for the development, targeting, content creation, and execution of digital advertising content and marketing strategies, and overseeing the quality, consistency and vision of social, digital and branding strategies on behalf of our clients. Must be able to interpret strategic narratives and translate them into innovative and creative solutions across a range of media including online, video, animation, web, and other digital media. Creativity and a critical eye for details and strong organizational skills are a must. 

Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work with communications and strategy team to assess client needs and determine the most effective and efficient graphic design and digital strategy, format and technique to accomplish client objectives while upholding the established brand image. 
  • Develop digital, advertising, marketing, and branding strategies, and work with communications team in implementation of earned and paid media campaigns.
  • Oversee creative production and distribution of digital products for clients.
  • Work with team on online initiatives including viral campaigns, online advertising, and online/offline strategies.
  • Manage the entire digital campaign process from design concept to final cut, to targeting, placement, and launch of digital ads across multiple platforms (onboarding, social media, key newspaper websites, etc.) ensuring quality is maintained at every step.
  • Manage timely completion and presentation of deliverables, including the metric tracking of campaigns as they progress, and regular and after-project reviews.
  • Continuing awareness of changing art, graphic design, and other online trends and technologies in order to keep the graphic design process on the cutting edge. 
  • Generate creative ideas and suggest alternatives as appropriate.
  • Work with team on online initiatives including viral campaigns, online advertising, and online/offline strategies.
  • Must be able to creatively develop content and a client-ready finished product.  

 

Required Skills

 

  • Experience in conceptualizing, launching, and managing digital advertising campaigns
  • Branding and graphic design lead or art director experience is strongly recommended, including expertise in corporate art & graphic design of print and digital products.
  • Strong understanding of key design-based software.
  • Experience across multiple creative mediums: Static ad production, video ad production, and animation.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and perform problem analysis and resolution at strategic and functional levels.
  • Possess strong project management skills to share information proactively and efficiently both internally and among client teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, especially writing and content creation.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
