Our client is seeking a Commercial Asset Management / Portfolio Analyst to support its commercial real estate portfolio across office and industrial assets. This is a collaborative, analytical role with exposure to portfolio reporting, financial analysis, leasing, capital projects, and asset management strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform portfolio and asset-level financial analysis and reporting, including quarterly reports, annual business plans, year-end reviews, and hold/sell analyses.
• Analyze cash yields, NOI, invested capital, leasing activity, construction, and property operations.
• Track and report on market conditions, leasing activity, capital projects, budgets, schedules, and expenditures.
• Support asset management plans, operating budgets, leasing and marketing strategies, and capital budgets.
• Prepare materials for monthly and quarterly client portfolio meetings.
• Assist with leasing analysis, including active prospects, lease expirations, renewals, market competition, and net effective rent calculations.
• Provide analytical support for property operations, including lease abstracting, audits, CAM charges, and reconciliations.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting to support portfolio and asset management teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in commercial real estate investment/development, investment banking, or finance.
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and asset management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to build detailed financial models from scratch; an Excel assessment will be part of the screening process.
• ARGUS experience required.
• Working knowledge of Yardi preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Finance or Real Estate preferred.
