Executive Assistant to Executive Director
Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization focused on expanding career opportunities and workforce access across New York City, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support its Executive Director. This highly visible role is ideal for a polished, proactive professional who enjoys partnering closely with executive leadership in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex and dynamic executive calendar, balancing competing priorities and scheduling requests.
- Coordinate domestic travel arrangements, detailed itineraries, and meeting logistics.
- Draft and manage executive correspondence while serving as a primary point of contact with internal and external stakeholders, including executive assistants and senior leaders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, briefing materials, and meeting agendas.
- Coordinate executive events, including speaker series, fireside chats, panel discussions, board meetings, and other special initiatives.
- Track action items, follow up on outstanding deliverables, and help ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Build strong relationships across the organization and serve as a trusted liaison for the Executive Director.
- Provide light personal assistance, including coordinating family travel, appointments, school registrations, camps, and other personal projects as needed.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of executive or senior administrative support experience.
- Strong calendar management experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, resourceful, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential information.
- Positive attitude and strong relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Schedule
- Full-time
- Hybrid schedule (4 days onsite; 3 days onsite when the Executive Director is traveling)
- Location: Midtown Manhattan
- Salary: $90,000–$100,000
- Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k)
