Portfolio Analyst
We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to support the management and growth of a multifamily real estate investment portfolio. This role offers broad exposure to the investment lifecycle, including financial analysis, portfolio management, investor reporting, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute across a variety of investment initiatives while partnering closely with senior leadership in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare investor presentations, investment memoranda, and other materials supporting fundraising and client communications
- Monitor portfolio and property performance through financial analysis, variance reporting, and market research
- Maintain and enhance financial models to support portfolio management, liquidity planning, and investment decision-making
- Produce quarterly and annual investor reporting, investment summaries, and operational analyses
- Assist with annual budgeting, asset planning, and strategic portfolio initiatives
- Support advisory committee meetings, board meetings, and other investor-related activities through financial analysis and presentation preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in real estate investment, development, investment banking, or corporate finance
- Knowledge of multifamily real estate investments, underwriting, and portfolio management
- Experience building complex financial models in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing professional presentations and reports
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience underwriting multifamily development or value-add investments is preferred
