Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fractional Manager of Operations to provide strategic and operational support to the CEO and help drive the day-to-day efficiency of a growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, managing business operations, and serving as a trusted partner across multiple functions. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable balancing operational execution with continuous process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO to support daily business operations, strategic initiatives, and organizational planning
- Manage and improve internal systems, processes, documentation, and operational workflows
- Coordinate employee onboarding, equipment provisioning, training assignments, and other people operations activities
- Support payroll administration, commission calculations, expense approvals, invoicing, and financial coordination with external accounting partners
- Monitor operational metrics, expenses, and reporting while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability
- Maintain internal calendars, coordinate company-wide communications, and support performance review processes
- Manage vendor relationships, office operations, and administrative requests while ensuring timely execution across the business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of operations, business management, or administrative leadership experience
- Exceptional organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail
- Strong project management, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting executives or senior leadership in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace; Rippling experience is a plus
- Experience or interest in financial services is preferred
- Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
Compensation & Schedule
- Temporary, part-time contractor (approximately 20 hours per week) with potential to become full-time
- Compensation: $3,000–$3,500 per month ($37.50–$43.75/hour)
- Remote (Philadelphia area preferred)
