Hospitality and Events Manager
We are seeking a Hospitality & Events Manager to oversee guest experience, hospitality operations, and event execution for a premier professional services organization in New York City. This highly visible role serves as the primary point person for internal and client-facing hospitality initiatives, ensuring meetings, events, and day-to-day operations are executed seamlessly and with exceptional attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is a polished, service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing event planning, stakeholder communication, hospitality management, and operational execution. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic coordination and flawless follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of internal and external events, including client programs, meetings, receptions, employee events, and other special initiatives
- Manage all food and beverage operations, catering, hospitality vendors, conference center logistics, and guest-facing services
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand event objectives and deliver exceptional experiences from planning through execution
- Coordinate event budgets, vendor relationships, logistics, invitations, and attendee communications
- Ensure conference rooms, meeting spaces, and hospitality areas are maintained to the highest standards and fully prepared for daily business needs
- Oversee reception operations and supervise front desk staff to ensure a professional and welcoming visitor experience
- Coordinate with building management, technology teams, and external service providers to support meetings, events, and office operations
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance service levels, improve processes, and elevate the overall client and employee experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of hospitality, event management, conference services, workplace experience, or client services experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple events, stakeholders, vendors, and competing priorities
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, catering, and hospitality operations
- Experience within a law firm, financial services firm, consulting firm, or other professional services environment preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional early morning or evening events
- Familiarity with conference room technology and meeting support preferred
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $114,000–$145,000 annually
- Full-time, exempt position
- Fully on-site
- New York, NY
