What we’re looking for
Myriad USA seeks an experienced Partnerships Manager who is a natural relationship builder and savvy networker to help the organization create meaningful partnerships across the philanthropic ecosystem. The ideal candidate is passionate about the potential for philanthropy to impact communities worldwide and comes with international experience and an ability to hold dynamic conversations with diverse groups. They are comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
What you’ll do
In this position you will identify and cultivate new partnerships to drive Myriad USA’s growth:
- In close coordination with the Chief Partnerships Officer (CPO), manage a portfolio of donors and steward their grantmaking
- Support new business development activities – including identifying and cultivating partnerships based on evolving strategic interests at the organization and new target audiences.
- Grow our corporate giving portfolio by developing partnerships with Fortune 1000 companies and foundations.
- Support CPO in securing and managing sponsorships for key industry events and represent Myriad USA at those events to further develop relationships. This will require domestic and potentially international travel.
- Identify and support marketing and communication opportunities to profile our work.
What you bring:
- 5-7 years of professional experience in global philanthropy, foundation, or nonprofit industries.
- Strong relationship building skills with demonstratable experience developing partnerships and managing a grantmaking portfolio
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, engage, and connect with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge and understanding of the philanthropic sector and international giving trends. Knowledge and understanding of corporate giving and CSR an advantage.
- Proficiency in a foreign language, deep international experience, or working in a multicultural setting essential.
- A self-starter mindset, organized, and tech-savvy, with the ability to track and prioritize multiple activities at the same time.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful environment that values diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and contributions.
What we offer
- Gross annual salary of $85,000 to $95,000 + 403(b) Retirement with 150% company match up to 8% of total compensation.
