Position Description
large Financial services client of ours is seeking a Workday specialist to join their technology team. This person will help in developing and executing a comprehensive Workday strategy that supplements the Company growth. While Payroll(US & UK) and HCM will be the primary responsibility, the candidate will be required to cover other areas such as Accounting, P2P, reporting, security, integration to other systems, etc. The role will require but will not be limited to project management, software implementation, report building, enhancements, and application integration.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Use Workday expertise to optimize and automate manual processes to drive synergies for corporate HCM, Payroll and the finance departments.
- Explore, identify, and develop forward-thinking end-to-end solutions for Workday and related HR and Finance applications.
- Collaborate closely with HR, payroll, finance, and tax department personnel on technology matters including reporting, troubleshooting, and system integrations.
- Assist in the improvement of current processes and procedures to enhance control environments.
- Perform day to day Workday maintenance functions, including trouble shooting with prompt issue resolutions.
- Manage and execute projects using internal and external resources.
- Mentor junior team members and provide professional guidance.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of Workday experience HCM & Finance
- Knowledge of prism & extend is a plus.
- Prior experience working within a Financial Services firm
- Ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities and people skills
- Highest degree of business ethics and professionalism

- Full-time, Exempt
- 4/1 split (M-Th work from office, F work from home.)
