Office Support Specialist
Our client, a successful advertising firm with offices across the US, is looking for an Office Support Specialist to join the team ASAP. Please note this is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start date. This role is required in-office full-time, and candidates must be vaccinated against Covid-19 to be considered.
Pay: $30/hour, potential to extend into a long-term role if it's a fit!
General Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome ALL upon entrance and offer assistance
- Act as the point of reference for those who need assistance or information and attend to their requests
- Understand people’s needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the organization
- Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations
- Arrange events, excursions, transportation
- Answer the phone, take and distribute messages or mail
- Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution
- Ensuring and providing flawless, upscale, professional and high class guest service experiences
- Analyzing customer feedback and providing strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating
- Responding to guests needs and anticipating their unstated ones
- Provide upscale guest service experiences for clients throughout their stay
- Ensure clients are properly greeted upon their arrival
- Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in
- Promptly address guests’ requests, like in-room dining
- Actively listen to and resolve complaints
- Ensure special guests, like disabled people, elderly, children and VIPs, receive personalized services
- Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff and follow up to address any concerns
- Promote all 3WTC amenities, conveniences and programs offered
- Recommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-see
- Establish friendly relationships with staff and others on the floor
- Work closely with Delivery, Human Resources and Operations leaders in developing the company as THE PLACE TO BE
Requirements & Skills:
- Positive attitude and takes the initiative while being resourceful to ensure that the needs of guests are met.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, such as patience and empathy, so that staff and guests feel at ease during their stay.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
