Our client in the home healthcare space is seeking a Temporary Accounting & Billing Specialist to help support their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Billing experience, familiarity with Concur and QuickBooks, and the ability to hit the ground running. Please note this is an in-office, ongoing temporary opportunity with an immediate start date. Candidates must be vaccinated against Covid-19 to be considered.

Role: Temporary Accounting/Billing Specialist

Rate: $40-$55/hour DOE

Schedule: 9am-5pm (no over-time), fully on-site

Responsibilities:

• Oversee billing including mail and email coverage, discharge and refunds, AR and collections, and LTC billing and related accounting transactions
• Support ~200 existing clients with customer service inquiries
• Respond to Caregiver payroll inquiries
• Manage AR; deposit checks, review and collect CC authorizations, ACH and CC returns, and complete any necessary followups
• Prepare prepaid calculations and collections
• Support Month close: GL reconciliations, SGA coding review, etc
• Manage SOCs and related items
• Support Department of Labor inquiries and Unemployment Benefits as needed
• Intercompany journal entries for employee out-of-pocket reimbursement
• Ad hoc projects

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Accounting and Billing experience
• Experience using Concur and QuickBooks
• Ability to commit through the end of November (at minimum)
