Marketing Coordinator
Our client, a leading American plaintiffs' law firm headquartered in NYC, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their team on an ongoing contract, with potential to extend or turn into a permanent position!
Rate: $30/hour
Office Policy: Hybrid (3x in office)

About the Role and Team
The Marketing Coordinator will support the firm’s marketing team on a wide range of marketing, communications, public relations and client relationship management projects, and requests for proposals (RFP’s).
Responsibilities:
- Develop written content for attorney biographies, website content, internal and external marketing communications, and social media posts.
- Update print and digital marketing materials to ensure content reflects the substantive strengths, accomplishments and current activities of the firm and specific practices.
- Assist with content development for presentations, proposals, and pitch materials, and collaborate with the marketing and business development team and partners as needed.
- Assist with the coordination of virtual and in-person client events, including webinars, CLE presentations, Women’s Forum, and European Shareholder Conferences.
- Assist with the RFP process, including support with edits and making updates in the RFP content management system (Qorus).
- Make updates to the firm’s website and intranet.
- Facilitate the organization and deployment of or firms marketing material, such as promotional swag, conference and other marketing material, in collaboration with internal firm departments, external contacts, and the marketing and business development team.
- Help with maintenance of the firm’s marketing technology, such as the firm’s CRM system (Salesforce), Content Management (Qorus) and mailing list database (Constant Contact).
- Collaborate with individuals at all levels of the firm, ranging from operational and professional staff to partners in order to help move forward the marketing team’s various initiatives and projects.
- Assist with ongoing special projects as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration.
- 2+ years related experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Highly proficient in MS Office programs such as Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of various social media platforms — particularly Twitter and LinkedIn
- Experience developing and posting social media content.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Constant Contact, or equivalent CRM and e-marketing software preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- A team player who is comfortable with and effective in collaborating with others, and who is also able to work independently.
- A flexible, collaborative personality that is able to effectively develop work relationships with others.
- A culturally sensitive approach with a high degree of emotional intelligence
- The ability to understand the different preferences and personalities of coworkers and to modify their approach for effective collaboration.
- A proactive approach coupled with a “no task is too small” attitude.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Ability to effectively proofread for contextual, grammatical, typographical or spelling errors.
