Contracts Analyst
Our client, a rapidly growing global AdTech media agency, requires support of a NY-based Contracts Analyst with outstanding legal administration skills and exceptional attention to detail. Must be able to multitask with several competing deadlines on administrative projects and urgent legal documents that facilitate the agency’s media buys for its industry giant clientele.
This is an immediate need and will begin remote.
Job Summary:
· Provide administrative support to the Contracts Manager and UK Contracts Analyst (i.e., file recordkeeping/retrieving; coordinate communications/ conference calls with internal stakeholders and outside counsel; update department spreadsheets; other Legal Dept ad hoc projects as requested)
· Facilitate the execution of legal documents through AdobeSign; follow ups internally as needed; become the recordkeeper/librarian of legal documents and assist with record retrievals and internal audits
· This role will become the Legal Dept SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for records, FAQs, and an air traffic controller for documents and processes
· Review and approve insertion orders (IOs) before they are routed for CAO’s signature while ensuring that the format and language used are in line with our standard operating procedures (SOP), templates and approved language library
· Liaise with internal stakeholders to modify atypical IO language when necessary and escalate same for Contracts Manager approval
· Ad hoc IO and AdobeSign training and retraining of employees as needed
· Review and revise MNDA’s, amendments and other assigned agreements with guidance from Contracts Manager, while adhering to internal contract playbooks and policies
· Negotiate basic contract terms through internal stakeholder and liaise with outside counsel as instructed
· Track status of contract request and IO assignments through the agency’s contract management systems
