Contract Diversity Sourcer
Our client, a successful health-tech company, is looking to bring on a Contract Diversity Sourcer to support their technical recruiting team! The ideal candidate will have experience with market mapping, building out the top of the funnel with a focus on diversifying pipelines, and is looking to support DEI related recruiting efforts. This role requires a technical recruiting background as the software engineering pipeline will be the focus. This is a fully remote, full-time contract need with a 6-9 month commitment and the potential to extend!
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and evaluating candidates with a focus on Software Engineering positions
- Work closely with fellow Sourcers, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and the DEI team to understand technical and non-technical requirements of various roles and teams
- Proactively build underrepresented talent pipelines through referral generation, online sourcing, events, and sourcing campaigns
- Interacting with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Slack, and Github, etc)
- Consistently maintain and track pipeline activity to share with Hiring Managers and Recruiters
- Recommend creative and results-oriented ideas to cultivate a diverse pipeline
- Coordinating with hiring managers to determine position requirements.
- Creating talent pipelines for current and future hires.
- Provide candidates with a positive and engaging experience
- Build and maintain external networks by proactively searching for active and passive candidates through networks and active sourcing
- Maintain clear and consistent records in our applicant tracking system
- Participate in recruiting projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 2-3 years of successful sourcing experience, including strong technical sourcing/recruiting experience
- An understanding of the opportunities and challenges in building a diverse talent pool and the tenacity to overcome obstacles and challenges
- Experience working in a modern Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- The ability to build and maintain a long-term pipeline for hard-to-fill roles
- Developed and maintained various strategies resulting in the engagement of passive technical candidates
- Experience using data and metrics as a means to advise partners and make recommendations
- Technical industry knowledge and general comprehension of relevant technical skills, relevant companies, engineering communities, and other technical resources
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
