Temp Network Coordinator
Our client, a non-profit, is seeking a temporary program coordinator to assist in providing education, health care, and social services to LGBTQ communities. This role has the potential to convert to a permanent position. The role starts remotely and would transition to the office on July 1st. The ideal candidate should have a background in human services, non-profit organizations, social services agencies, and/or public administration with about 3-4 years of experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Program Manager in the facilitation programming.
- Coordinate and deliver technical assistance and capacity-building support for member agencies.
- Co-facilitate all-member, advisory body, and committee meetings.
- Collaborate with committees in executing, monitoring, and evaluating their goals.
- Deliver LGBTQ cultural humility education and technical assistance with state agencies.
- Coordinate program content for in-person events.
- Develop and implement an annual educational campaign around a health priority within the LGBTQ community.
- Collaborate with The Network’s committees to create digital campaigns around days of significance to the LGBTQ community.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service, public administration, or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
- Experience centering the voices of multiple communities, including queer and TGNCNB individuals, people of color, immigrants and other historically marginalized communities.
- Demonstrated success and experience in managing projects independently, as well as collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and customer service skills, with an ability to interact with a wide range of personalities and diverse community members.
- Demonstrated experience with Google Suite, social media and text messaging platforms.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Compensation $24-28/hour
