Director of Account Management
Our client, a tech start up company in NYC, is hiring a Director of Account Management to join their team!
Role Description:
They are hiring a revenue leader to build their account management organization. You will be focused on renewing and expanding relationships with their biggest customers. You will be responsible for building out the first specialized team focused 100% on upsells and renewals post sale and will be responsible for building excellent decision maker relationships across a rapidly growing customer base. Your team will tell the story of how they are helping their customers succeed to executives, present insights, and drive the adoption of their expanding suite of products. You will initially own key accounts yourself and will build out a team of experienced sellers around you. You’ll collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to make sure day-to-day interactions and high-level relationship goals move in sync. This position reports directly into their CEO.

Preferred qualifications:

5+ years of account management, customer success, or sales experience

Previous success as a manager

Experience owning both renewals and upsells

Extended record of success in quota carrying roles

Early-stage SaaS experience

Field sales experience
-
Experience managing $50,000+ ACV accounts

Experience collaborating closely with day-to-day Customer Success Managers

Desire to work from New York City headquarters after a COVID-19 vaccine is widely available
