Emerging Markets Research Analyst
Global Asset Manager located in NYC is seeking an Emerging Markets Analyst to support a team of research driven Fixed Income portfolio managers. The role will focus on the analysis of a variety of sectors across emerging markets.
Responsibilities
- Perform fundamental analysis including modeling and integrating ESG considerations.
- Monitor performance and holdings relative to investment objectives, benchmarks and outlook.
- Produce both written and oral relative value recommendations.
- Develop and maintain sell-side research relationships, contact issuer management teams and attend industry conferences.
- Collaborate with other debt and equity analysts and portfolio managers as the credit expert on the covered issuers and industries.
- Frequently interact with portfolio managers and traders.
- Participates in periodic issuer specific and Thematic research sessions while utilizing the Data Insights Unit and the Environmental, Social and Governance resources.
- Meet with clients and prospects to discuss coverage themes and outlooks.
- Quickly respond to ad hoc credit requests.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related subject. Preferred MBA and or CFA/CPA
- Broad experience within the full spectrum of emerging market credit research
- Willingness to develop new coverage.
- Sell-side and buy-side relationships.
