Our client (an NYC based bank that has been around for over 150 years) is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team. This is a brand-new position and it is a very exciting time to be joining their team! The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience doing digital marketing, is an expert in all social media platforms, is a team player and has strong interpersonal skills.

Essential Job Functions:

• Recommend, develop and publish social campaigns and posts on all social channels.
• Work with Digital Marketing Manager on the development and scheduling of email marketing campaigns.
• Work with Marketing team, digital agency and outside resources on video vignettes for the Bank’s website and social media.
• Research and identify local market opportunities for consideration, including event, digital and social opportunities, working with District Managers and individual branches and using competitive analysis.

Skills and Qualifications:

• BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, Interactive Communications, Journalism, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in a corporate or agency setting in a marketing and communications role with exposure to digital and traditional channels, preferably in financial services.
• Knowledge of financial products preferred
• Experienced in working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and well versed in social media.
• Must be willing to travel to any bank branch location or other marketplace location as needed.
