Global Asset Manager is looking to hire a Fixed Income Analyst/ Product Executive to work closely with their Fixed Income Product and US Fixed Income Investment team to deliver investment and product information to a range of internal and external clients.  Excellent data management and excel skills are required, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.  Knowledge of fixed income market is required. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare, understand, calculate and report portfolio characteristics, statistics, and other investment data for our Fixed Income Products, including Credit, Multi-Sector, Securitized and EMD to our internal and external clients. Accounts include segregated mandates, UCITS funds and US mutual funds.  

• Create, write, update and maintain all product language and data for products in the RFP databases and work with RFP and client portfolio managers to complete and customize RFPs, DDQs and RFIs as needed.  

• Write product and client monthly and quarterly commentaries including market updates, performance commentary using attribution, positioning and outlook.

• Prepare data and update product and fund presentations as well as client marketing material including fund fact sheets, sales aids and quarterly investment reports.  

• Update consultant and client databases with product data and portfolio information.

• Provide ad hoc analysis and responses for daily product and client queries

• Assist with competitive analysis using Morningstar and eVestment.

• Develop comprehensive product knowledge on fixed income investments and all US Fixed Income products.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years fixed income investment experience,

• Bachelor degree required, CFA or advanced degree a plus

• Strong finance, math, data management, and quantitative skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Macros and VBA 

• Aladdin experience a plus

• Preferable working in an  asset management firm or investment consulting firm
