Account Director
We are looking for a full-time Account Director to join our client’s small creative team in New York. This client is a boutique consultancy rooting in writing; verbal identity, creative content, naming, and other word based work for a range of clients. In this position, you will be the clients’ advocate and strategist. The ideal candidate will have managed an internal team before, guiding them through project strategies, scopes, and execution. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has a passion for words and the impact they have on business and the world! This job is a direct hire with an ASAP start.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with creative and project management teams
- Keep opportunities with clients and contracts up to date
- Follow client’s industries to keep up to date
- Run account team meetings
- Develop relationships with clients that lead to continuous business and meet financial targets
- Prepare account plans and develop them each year
- Manage junior members of our account team
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of account management in the writing/ verbal identity space, with at least one of those managing a team
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A commercially savvy attitude towards work
- An eagerness to write and a willingness to help various clients
