Lead Specialist - Trade Operations 

Asset manager is seeking an Operations Specialist to join their dynamic team which ensures the accuracy of trade confirmations, instructions and settlement of derivative, mutual fund, equity, fixed income and foreign exchange trades and the instruction of cash payments/receipts.

Responsibilities

• Timely confirmation of derivatives, mutual fund, equity, fixed income, FX and CFD trades
• Issuance of settlement instructions to custodians and 3rd party administrators
• Support of collateral and margin processes for open derivative contracts
• Support of derivative life-cycle events
• Interest claim resolution
• Post execution trade amendments
• Role provides administrative, transactional based support to others involved in the task of fund / portfolio management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree 
• 3-5 yrs experience within Financial Services Operations.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills and/or written skills. Ability to explain relatively involved concepts in a clear and concise manner to others within the organization.
• The ability to promote a positive and professional image and being helpful and polite is essential.
• Active part in improving day-to-day procedures
• Experience with the Aladdin platform preferred
