T2P HR Director
Our client, a higher education institution focused on the arts, is seeking an individual to fill the role of HR Director. This role will involve performance management, recruitment, benefits and compensation, year end processes, and managing reports and analytics. The ideal candidate is comfortable being a leader, has a strong interest in Learning and Development, and is eager to work with an executive team very closely. This opportunity is considering both Temp-to-Perm and Direct-Hire candidates and is looking for someone to start ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Addresses and responds to employee relations issues
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures, as well as maintain the employee handbook
- Administer various human resource plans and procedures
- Will use BSwift, ADP, and Jobvite
- Leads the recruitment process, developing strategies to create a pool of diverse talent
- Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action
- Leads the annual merit and performance management process
- Partners with senior leadership team to determine compensation decisions
- Reports all HR data
- Facilitates training to employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Master’s Degree, PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of prior Human Resources experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using an HRIS system, ATS, and payroll provider
- Experience processing Leaves of Absence and Workers’ Compensation Claims
- Broad knowledge of employment laws and regulations as well as experience with Employee Relations, Harassment Investigations, and Progressive Disciplinary procedures
