Recruiter - Media/Entertainment
Our client, an online media and entertainment company, is seeking a Recruiter to join their growing team. A successful candidate must have experience working in a fast paced and challenging environment, experience recruiting for the media space, an outgoing personality, and a bachelor’s degree. All applicants should have the flexibility to interview and start ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Screening resumes and sourcing candidates using a variety of recruiting sources including but not limited to the following: internet recruiting, employee referrals, social networks, and advertisements
- Serving as a business partner to the hiring managers
- Heavy scheduling of interviews and calendar coordination
- Interviewing/ screening all candidates
- Act as primary point of contact for candidates
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System to track candidate status and provide reporting
- Assist business with experienced hire/lateral recruiting, as needed
- Partner with Account Directors and HR Manager to develop and drive recruiting strategies and execute recruiting events
- Producing hiring manager prep emails and providing weekly pipeline updates
- Collaborating across the business for additional projects and reports as needed
?Qualifications:
- 3+ years in full-cycle recruiting, from candidate origination through offer negotiations and close
- A focus on quality versus quantity
- Ability to manage multiple searches across multiple hiring managers simultaneously
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible when needed
- Knowledge of employment laws
- Strong ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels, both face to face, via phone and email
- Excellent organization/prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required
