T2P Executive Assistant to the CEO
Our client, a private equity firm, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the CEO of two newer funds within the firm. This position is temp-to-perm and offers the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic leader who oversees a portfolio of 9 companies, serving as chairman of 7. The CEO’s role involves extensive travel, with about 2/3 of the year spent outside of New York City, and the remaining 1/3 in NYC, which affords this EA a hybrid opportunity with a mix of in-person in office and remote work.
Location: New York City / Hybrid Remote
Hours: 9 AM - 6 PM (1-hour lunch break). No overtime unless supporting a major event or board meeting.
Responsibilities:

Calendar Management: Use Microsoft Outlook to manage the CEO’s complex schedule, ensuring they stay on track for all meetings, travel, and deadlines.

Travel Coordination: Collaborate with a travel agency to book extensive global travel and manage logistics.

Expense Reports: Track and reconcile expenses using Excel spreadsheets.

Meeting Preparation: Assist in preparing for board meetings, including organizing materials and coordinating with key stakeholders.

Support During High-Stakes Events: Provide additional support around major events or meetings, which may require occasional overtime.
Qualifications:

5-10 years of executive assistant experience, preferably supporting C-suite executives.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook for calendar management and Excel for expense reporting.

A proactive approach to keeping the CEO on schedule and anticipating their needs.

Flexibility to support a CEO with a dynamic and fast-paced travel schedule, both in NYC and abroad.
Interview Process: 2 rounds of interviews: Most likely one virtual and one in-person.
Hourly Rate (Temp): $30/hr - $40/hr
Annual Salary for a Permanent Conversion: $85,000 - $90,000
