Security Coordinator

Our client, a leading non-profit in the performing arts, is seeking a Security Coordinator to assist their Security Division. This position is primarily processing payroll for the team as well as providing administrative support. An ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a gift for problem-solving, and as well as a strong connection to the client's mission.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll using ADP
  • Approving weekly time cards for almost 100 employees
  • Liaise between Payroll & ADP to identify/solve system issues
  • Maintain a record of overtime requests
  • Logging all time off, for example, Sick, Vacation, FMLA, etc.
  • Maintain calendars and schedules for senior leadership
  • Manage ID Badge Creation new staff
  • Track Fire Guard Certificates and New York Licenses
  • Ordering Supplies, stock kitchen, update vendor list, track expenses, created decks using PowerPoint
  • Support with security guard onboarding materials
  • Additional support as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven self-starter who is driven to find easier and more efficient ways to get things done
  • Proactive and creative problem solver
  • Calm under pressure but can act with a sense of urgency when applicable
  • Interest in the performing arts is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Innate curiosity and eagerness to learn & grow
