Executive Assistant to Chairman

Our client, a diversified holding company New York, is looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to fill the role of Executive Assistant to Chairman. The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to handle pressure in an intense work environment. This role will handle calendar management and expenses and includes extensive travel with the Chairman. This opportunity is direct hire with an ASAP start date.

Responsibilities:

  • Heavy logistics and calendar management: schedule meetings and telephone calls, coordinate attendance at conferences and at social events
  • Coordinate complex international and domestic travel
  • Coordinate Board Meetings
  • Coordinate schedules: prioritize schedule according to the executive’s preferences and guidance
  • Travel with Chairman up to 12 weeks a year
  • Prepare expense reports
  • Provide strategic time management

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of administrative support experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to travel with Chairman, as well as a 24/7 mentality
  • Ability to thrive in an intense work environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
