Job description

Global law firm is recruiting for a Business Development Professional 2-3 years experience to work with the Entertainment and Media Industry Group. Looking for a candidate with a background in PR/Marketing to support the practice group and to help implement business development and marketing strategies.


Essential Functions:

  • Be the key business development point of contact for the Entertainment and Media Industry Group lawyers in the US and globally
  • Work on new pitch and proposal opportunities 
  • Update and prepare practice related materials (practice group profiles, deal/matter case studies, bios etc.)
  • Conduct research and analysis on clients and organizations 
  • Work closely with the firm in-house pricing team to help to create clear pricing strategies for clients
  • Help to plan seminars, round-tables and receptions for key clients
  • Create materials for client presentations, internal training meetings
  • Produce briefing notes for partner conferences, speaker events and/or business trips/client meetings 
  • Work closely with US and EMEA regional marketing counterparts to develop an international approach to business development
  • Plan and co-ordinate practice group projects and act as a liaison point between the lawyers and wider business development team
  • Work with the  PR team on initiatives and profile-raising
  • Liaise with the Finance Department to produce financial reports 
  • Manage the social media campaigns to improve market visibility
  • Gather Entertainment and Media Industry Group matters for input into the experience tracking tool
  • Organize contacts and key information on the firm’s CRM system


EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
