Dillion’s passion for acting and performance is what initially brought him to NYC from Fairhope, Alabama, and eventually guided him toward the recruiting industry. He developed a passion for performing through his 8th grade performance of Grease as Danny Zuko. From there he knew he had to spread his wings a bit and break out of south Alabama. So, naturally, he went to Jacksonville State University in NORTH Alabama where he received a BA in Performance. For 5 years he successfully pursued a professional career in acting in Ohio, Florida, Georgia and finally settled in New York!
Dillion learned about the staffing agency world from being on the candidate side while pursuing the performing arts. This sparked his interest in the agency world and began to feel like strong match for his excellent interpersonal skills. While he still wouldn’t say no to a stint on Broadway, Dillion has realized there is a meaningful career path for him in recruiting. Dillion has a natural instinct to learn the strengths of others and help them chart a course which helped him excel in hospitality staffing before making the move to Clarity. After a variety of hospitality gigs, he secured a position as a Staffing Office and Account Manager at an agency that had previously employed him. This deepened his interest in staffing and recruiting and eventually led him to Clarity to learn about new opportunities. In 2022 Dillion joined Clarity’s temporary division and he looks forward to forming bonds with candidates and helping to make the perfect matches for candidates and clients. Creating opportunities to improve quality of life for not only other performers — which we staff often on temporary assignments! — but anyone seeking a a next step is something he’s proud to pay forward.
When he’s not recruiting and helping to build better teams, Dillion is usually binging the next big thing, playing video games and tending to his responsibilities as a cat-dad to 2 rescue cats.
