Part-Time Marketing/Writing Assistant (Copy)
Our client, a nonprofit in the policy and politics space, is seeking a Part-Time Digital Marketing Assistant. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, experience with content creation for both print and digital, and the ability to utilize Mailchimp is a plus. This is a hybrid position, in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with an expectation to work 20-25 hours per week. Candidates must be vaccinated against Covid-19 to be considered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drafting articles and blogs
- Drafting and editing website copy
- Drafting and editing talking points and general messaging
- Identifying and creating FAQ pages as needed
- Drafting and editing interview distillations for future use
- Admin support with any and all special projects
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in content creation
- Experience within the nonprofit space
- Superb attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and complete projects on time.
- Knowledge, understanding, and experience working with a mission driven company
Pay: $25/hour-$28/hour (depending on experience)
