Temp-to-Perm Sales Coordinator

Our client, a successful developer and distributor in the beauty industry, is seeking a Temp-to-Perm Sales Coordinator to join their rapidly growing team. This is position is a full-time contract-to-hire role. They are looking for someone smart, eager, tech savvy (ability to work with databases, portals, Excel and PowerPoint) and understands working in a hybrid environment supporting a team both in-office and remotely. All candidates must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and comfortable working on a hybrid schedule.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage meeting schedules and execute all necessary pre-meeting objectives across all accounts.
  • Work with sales team to develop account specific PowerPoint presentations.
  • Coordinate product sample requests with office manager.
  • Assist with account specific setup forms.
  • Utilize Excel and in-house database systems to generate monthly sales, commission, and shipping reports.
  • Work with the sales team to maintain/update distribution grids, promo calendars and pricing.
  • Work closely with product development and operations to maintain/update product specification sheets.
  • Keep sales team informed on pertinent new product development updates.
  • Maintain the Syndigo, Bazaarvoice, Criteo, Salsify/SKULibrary, Repositrak, and GS1 databases/platforms.
  • Trade show management
    • Work with show contact to complete all necessary setup (paperwork, payment, etc.).
    • Coordinate shipment of all show materials (product, backdrops, props, etc.).

 

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 – 4 years of work experience in an office setting providing support to multiple individuals.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects, often with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as this position interfaces across departments and will have direct interaction with senior management.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, priority changing environment.
  • Attention to detail, ability to initiate, plan and prioritize.
  • Energetic, team member who enjoys the challenges of a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

 

LOCATION:

Position is located at the company’s headquarters in Chelsea New York City which is conveniently located just 2 blocks from Penn Station.

 

PAY:

$20-$25/hour & $63k-68k upon conversion, depending on experience
