Human Resources Coordinator
Our client is an award-winning, innovative house in the automotive marketing space, and due to growth, they're hiring an HR Coordinator to work directly for their HR Manager!
This position is responsible for providing support with all HR initiatives including: staffing/recruitment/hiring, training/development, HRIS management, engagement, compensation/benefits and other mission-critical areas. The goal here is to help enable all employees to reach their full potential and enjoy the highest possible level of job satisfaction and career development.
Type of employment: permanent + full-time (benefits kick in early here, too!)
Location: Cumming (north of Atlanta)
Range of experience needed: 1-3 years
Ideal candidate will have a huge passion for working in and continuing to learn about the HR space!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Staffing/Recruitment/Hiring
- Assist with talent acquisition to attract and retain top talent
- Conduct phone interviews
- Coordinate scheduling of in-person interviews for hiring managers and teams
- Draft offer letters
- Facilitate candidate communication
- Encourage usage of employee referral program
- Support implementation onboarding process for new hires
Training and Development
- Assist with cross-departmental training coordination
- Track progress with internal learning initiatives
- Provide communication around coaching and development programs to managers /employees
Engagement
- Champion and embody the company’s culture and values
- Coordinate events that aid in employee engagement and satisfaction
- Coordination of employee surveys
- Provide support with application process for local/national award programs
- Create employee recognition initiatives to “celebrate wins” and recognize individual and team efforts/successes
- Use data insights to evaluate solutions to ensure strong culture of engagement
- Assist in the planning and execution of company events
Benefits/Compensation
- Coordinate with insurance providers benefits plans to assist with employee inquiries
- Participate in salary survey process
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Continual learner who is passionate about the field of HR
- Solid understanding of HR principles and practices
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Sound judgment when dealing with highly confidential information
EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or related field or 2 years of working HR experience
- Experience using an HRIS system is a plus
- Experience in a fast-growth technology or marketing company a plus
