Content Project Manager
Our client, a renowned philanthropic organization in NYC, is seeking a Content Project Manager with an eye for design and strong writing skills to join their internal communications and marketing team.
This role will be based full time in New York City. 4x in office, 1x remote per week. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
Salary: $68,000-85,000/year
Responsibilities
- Manage deck design and production, including owning content throughout the review process in partnership with internal clients to ensure feedback from multiple sources is synthesized and incorporated into the material
- Give feedback to designers on the creation of graphics, charts, and maps; and manage the creation of other content as assigned
- Support speaker prep with both internal and external experts
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, encouraging
- creativity, innovation, and cross-functional cooperation
- Provide clear and concise project updates to key stakeholders, highlighting challenges
- and recommended solutions
- Respond to competing and changing priorities in real time as needs arise
Key Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of comparable experience in communications, writing memos, proposals, briefings, creating PowerPoint presentations, speaker preparation, and or marketing copy writing or design
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment with a flexibility and willingness to work outside normal business hours (evenings, weekends)
- Proven ability to produce clear, thoughtful, and well-researched written content in a variety of formats
- A sense for how to communicate visually
- Must be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative environment
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
