Part-Time Office Coordinator

Our client, a growing tech platform in the social impact space, is looking for a part-time, contract Office Coordinator to support the workplace experience team in their NYC office. This person will partner closely with the Director of IT & Facilities and support all workspace-related needs. This position is starting on a part-time contract basis with the potential to grow hours over time. This opportunity will require being on-site. Please note this is a contract position with an immediate start date.

THE ROLE:

  • Responsible for supporting the workplace experience team in the NYC office. You’ll ensure that our office environment creates an ideal workspace for all of our teams, while also bringing our mission and values to life.
  • Manage partnerships with building management, cleaning staff, and all other office vendors including snacks, meals, handy-people, and IT support
  • Order, track inventory, and stock office supplies, snacks, swag, and/or new hire equipment
  • Proactively seek ways to streamline office processes and leverage best practices
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring up-to-date emergency preparedness plans, first aid kits, and compliance posters
  • Act as the main point of contact for office-related needs; be a positive, friendly presence in the office, building strong relationships with all team members and guests, as well as with any visiting employees

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
  • At least 1+ years of experience working in a fast-paced business environment (preferably within the tech space)
  • Friendly and enthusiastic can-do attitude
  • Self-directed, highly efficient, detail-oriented problem solver with demonstrated experience and creativity in developing and improving processes
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively, always following up projects through to completion
  • Great judgment and a history of working with highly confidential information
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build relationships across different functions


This opportunity will pay between $18-$20/hour depending on experience.
