Recruiting with Purpose

Team Clarity takes a purpose-driven approach to recruitment, to business at large, and to helping our communities thrive. Purpose is one of core values alongside clarity and humanity, and here’s a spotlight on what *purpose* means to our Team.

Purpose: We care about people, and we believe all people deserve access to resources that can help them build their dream team, or become a part of one. Our purpose is to be one of these resources for as many people as possible.

To activate this value, we simply can’t sit at our desks all day! Our purpose transcends our office doors and remote working nooks wherever we are located. This helps us perform our jobs better when we’re at work. We are passionate about giving our time to serve surrounding communities so that more people can gain access to resources that fuel their success. By giving back to our community through volunteer service and coordinated giving, we are able to live out our purpose of helping as many people as possible access essential resources, and to continually promote a culture of understanding and inclusion. Beginning in 2019, we’ve made it even easier for our Team to do so by adding flexible service options as a benefit for all employees.

Our most recent donation recipient was THE CENTER FOR REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS. We are a woman-owned business that mostly women-led. We believe all women deserve access to necessary healthcare.

One of our longest running service partners remains Futures and Options:

Several times a year, Clarity hosts “Career Exploration” field trips for highschool students that are enrolled in Futures and Options right here in our NY HQ — including this Spring when we returned to in-person volunteering after 2 years of virtual sessions. It felt great to connect face-to-face with these inspiring students. This is part of their Career Essentials programming. Career Essentials provides career readiness training to students who have not yet reached the skill level ーor age ー to be placed in internship positions at leading businesses.  Futures and Options’ engaging, interactive workshops help students learn to sharpen public speaking, time management, goal setting, and interviewing skills.

By partnering with New York’s business community, Futures and Options opens doors for underserved youth to build meaningful professional careers.  We also provide businesses with a trained, educated, and diverse young workforce. Learn more here.

We have also partnered with Habitat for Humanity and  New York Cares for Team-Wide Day of Service through their organizations. In addition to an annual team day of service, our NYC office has hosted a New York Cares Coat Drive, and the organization facilitated delivery of our donated coats to those in need, and sent a generous donation to New York Cares on behalf of our community + clients in lieu of physical holiday gifts.

Other causes we have supported recently include:

EVERYTOWN for GUN SAFETY

THE CENTER FOR REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS

RAISEDBY.US

Team-Elected Holiday Donation Recipients include:

GIRLS ON THE RUN

FIRST RESPONDERS CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION

MEALS BY GRACE

THE TOMMY BRULL FOUNDATION

STONEWALL COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
